2019 Hyundai Veloster Set to Appear in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp

2019 Hyundai Veloster in Fall River, MA

This year, one of Hyundai’s most-anticipated 2019 models meets one of the year’s most-anticipated films: Ant-Man and the Wasp. Marvel routinely uses automotive product placements within their films, turning everyday vehicles into superpowered icons. This year, Marvel will feature the sleek and redesigned 2019 Hyundai Veloster in its action-packed summer blockbuster, Ant-Man and the Wasp.

This is not the first time that a Hyundai vehicle has been prominently featured within a Marvel Studios production, as Hyundai vehicles also made appearances in the popular Netflix shows Daredevil and Jessica Jones. The collaboration between Hyundai and Ant-Man and the Wasp is especially notable because Paul Rudd has close ties to both – he’s currently Hyundai’s celebrity spokesperson and stars as Ant-Man in the film.

The 2019 Veloster is a sports hatchback with enough power and flair to suit a superhero flick. The featured Veloster’s purple exterior features yellow and orange flames, making it look like a kitschy and fun toy car. In the film, it will surely serve as a flashy getaway vehicle. Other Hyundai vehicles will make an appearance in the film, but no particular models have been officially confirmed. We’re confident that Hyundai’s sleek and sporty vehicles will provide the perfect backdrop in the film, and we can’t wait to see the 2019 Veloster in super-heroic action.

If you’d like to pick up a Hyundai Veloster model of your own, be sure to stop by Empire Hyundai this summer.

Hyundai Concept Car Premieres at Geneva Auto Show

Concept cars are the runway models of the auto industry. You might not see them driving around on the street, but that just gives automakers the freedom to play around with unusual design elements and outlandish powertrains, which can inspire the trends of the next generation. On that note, the new Hyundai concept car that just debuted at the Geneva auto show is setting a new standard for the brand’s upcoming lineup.

Named the Le Fil Rouge, the new concept car is a dynamic, athletic coupe with a flashy and upscale design. The concept’s designers were reportedly inspired by both the Golden Ratio and Hyundai’s commitment to unifying the past, present, and future of the brand, as well as by the idea of creating a sense of “sensuous sportiness.” Much of the Le Fil Rouge’s design focuses on drawing attention to its long, low-slung wheelbase and body, and the interior employs a new “Tube Architecture,” including a floating center console.

While Hyundai says there are no intentions to bring the Le Fil Rouge coupe to a production car, the design elements of the Hyundai concept car will be making their way into the brand’s next-generation lineup of vehicles and models.

Keep an eye out for more information and cutting-edge designs from Hyundai in the future. We will certainly enjoy seeing what production vehicles come to Empire Hyundai based on Le Fil Rouge.

Hyundai Releases 2019 Veloster Teaser Ahead of Debut

The Hyundai Veloster is a fan-favorite thanks to its combination of hatchback versatility and sporty style. However, it has been quite some time since the Veloster got an update. Buyers attracted to the vehicle’s sleek style don’t have to wait any longer, as the 2019 Veloster teaser was just dropped by Hyundai ahead of the nameplate’s next-gen debut at the upcoming 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

The teaser doesn’t give away much, but we do get some details, such as the fact that the Hyundai Veloster will wield its funky three-door design while getting an exterior refresh that makes it look more in line with Hyundai’s other current models. The 2019 Veloster will also feature a stylish all-black roof, a nod to contemporary styles currently popular on the market.

Critics and enthusiasts are speculating that the new Veloster will take a cue from the Elantra GT Sport, sharing the same turbocharged engine for a power rating of 201 horsepower. However, for now, all we know of the new next-generation model is what we can see in the 2019 Veloster teaser. The rest will have to wait until we get more information when Hyundai unveils the model fully in Detroit this January.

Leasing 101 – Why It’s a Fantastic Option

leasing 101

If you’re shopping around for your next vehicle, you may feel a little hesitant to lease a car. After all, it seems like most people are buying, so should you do the same? Actually, leasing is a really great option for lots of individuals with lots of unique situations. Don’t let that option scare you away just because it seems unfamiliar. Read on for some basic leasing 101 from Empire Hyundai and learn when and why leasing is a perfect option.

A Smart Way to Save

When you lease a car, you essentially rent it long-term. There’s still often a down payment, just like there is when you buy a new car. However, with leasing the down payment is remarkably lower. There are also monthly payments, but these payments are typically lower than those on a car loan as well,

More for Less

Since the initial and the monthly costs are lower on a leased car than on one you would purchase, buyers can use these savings to opt for a nicer, more expensive car. This is great for people who want a fancy car for work, or simply for those who want a high-end trim level with all of the available safety and technology features.

Always Stay Up to Date

A typical lease lasts around two years. When the lease is up, as long as you have not exceeded the maximum mileage or broken any part of the contract, you simply turn the car back into where you leased it. It beats the hassle of selling an old car. Plus, when you’re on a two-year rotation with cars, you can always have the latest in technology, safety, and efficiency, which means a lot to some people.
